Courtney Collins UKA/L   A.D.F.P member

 

Courtney started dancing at the age of 2 and completed all her dancing grades in Freestyle with Justine’s school of dance; she became a champion at the age of 8 and received many titles in freestyle. Courtney has trained in many dance genres ballet, tap and jazz, and trained at Doris Isaac’s school for many years and won the Brighton festival.

Courtney took her Licentiate qualification with the UKA in 2011 and was trained by Justine Collins; she is also a qualified hairdresser. Her son was born in 2009 and she is a full time mother, her son Chase loves to dance and is following in the family footsteps of his mum and Grand mum.

Courtney is very proud of all the dancers from Southwick and Brighton whom she took to “the only way is Wessex” in October “they worked so hard and roll on 2012.”

Katie Sullivan UKA/L  A.D.F.P member

 

Katie started her dancing career with Lorna Roff in Brighton, she danced at many events in the South and became a championship grade dancer. Katie was then trained by Justine Collins and danced pairs ,solos and rock and roll and received many awards over the years, she trained with Justine in 2011 and completed her teachers Licentiate qualification in 2011.Katie is a hard working adjudicator and judges events around the country, she became a member of the A.D.F.P this year.

Katie now teaches for Just Dance Academy in Brighton and Southwick, she went to the weekend away this year and was very proud of the parents and dancers whom attended the event.

Katie lives in Brighton with her one year old daughter Darcie and is a full time mother.

 

ArArrash Mahin street dance Instructor UKA/L   ADFP member

 

Arrash started dancing at an early age and went to many dance schools in Sussex, he completed is freestyle championship days with Emily Edwards in Worthing. He danced at many events and was in championship grade when he gave up to become a street dance trainer, he trained in London and opened his school in 2009.StreetVibe is now a fantastic success in Brighton and he runs classes competitions and shows in Brighton.

Arrash trained with Justine Collins In 2010 and passed his Licentiate qualification in 2011, he has lectured for other schools and worked with many professionals on squad days around England.

Arrash has partner Jemma and baby Bella right by his side for support, and he is looking forward to his daughter starting to dance however as she’s not one yet he has a few years to wait.

Arrash teaches in Brighton with Just Dance academy and is busy dancing all the time .

 

Amber - Teacher Worthing

Amber started her dance training age 3 at Jordanz school of dance trained by Moya Jordan in Fareham, then later continued her development and training at Phoenix school of dance trained by Claire Phillips in Portsmouth.

During her time as an amateur dancer, Amber completed all her exams to an Advanced level and was also an ADFP championship competitor attending many Festivals and competitions which involved traveling all over the country with her school entering and winning many competitions in Freestyle solo, Pairs, Slow Dance, Rock n Roll and Teams.

In February 2011 she completed her teacher training and became an associate member of the United Kingdom Alliance of Professional Teachers (UKA) and qualified dance teacher under the training of Justine Collins

Justine started dancing with Anthony Allen and Kenneth Lee in Hove at Studio One. Training with Bob Fuller and Jean Cantell and taught for many years with Lorna Roff in Brighton. In 1990 Justine opened her school in Southwick, and has taught many children and adults over the years to Championship standard in Freestyle.

Justine holds a Licentiate qualification with 3 associations and is currently taking her Fellowship to become an examiner, competitively with the A.D.F.P. Justine also holds Championship and Rock and Roll licences.

Justine currently lives in Southwick with her partner Richard, daughter Darcey and stepdaughter Jodie,  their dog ‘Presley’ and cats ‘O’Mally’, ‘Berlioz’ and latest addition ‘Figaro’ the kitten.

 

Justine’s elder daughter Courtney is following in her mum’s footsteps as a qualified dance teacher and as well as being a hairdresser, Courtney is also a full time mum with Justine’s cheeky grandson Chase.

 

“Life’s busy with dance,  I wouldn’t have it any other way, I am so proud of my family and love them with all my heart.”
