Biog - Justine Collins
School principal Justine Collins is a Licentiate of the Imperial Society for Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), a Championship Adjudicator with the Association of Dance Freestyle Professionals (ADFP), is CRB checked, and holds a current first Aid certificate.
Justine was born in 1970 in Mileoak, Sussex. Went to school at Mileoak County Primary school then on to Portslade Community College.
Justine started her dancing at Studio One in Hove, with Anthony Allen and Kenneth Lee. After it closed she went on to the Lorna Roff dance school and competed in freestyle dance festivals. She trained at Studio Tempo with Jean Cantell and Bob Fuller in Newhaven and took her student teachers exam in 1987 .
Justine now lives Southwick with her two daughters Courtney 17 and Darcey 10, her cat Mowgli 8 , and the latest addition to the family Presley, the Cocker Spaniel puppy.
Some of Justine's credits to date:
- Currently the Southern Area secretary for the A.D.F.P.
- Completed her teacher training certificate with the I.S.T.D
- Lectured for the I.S.T.D. silver gold work on 17.09.06
- Teacher trainer in the south.
- Adjudicated at the I.S.T.D grand medallist finals 15.10.06
- Became an I.D.T.A MEMBER Jan 07.
- 25.02.07 Adjudicated the Midland area championships!
- 15.04.07 Went to watch Breen. oh boy, what talent and the teams were out of this world!!!! what a day outstanding came home inspired by the talent of the dancers.
- 22.06.07 Adjudicated Selsey really enjoyed the day some good dancing.
- 05.10.07 Adjudicated the Devon Cliff weekend amazing dancing again on this weekend totally loved the promotion.
